Southwest Journal and Downtown Journal honored with several Minnesota Newspaper Association Better Newspaper awards

The Southwest Journal and Downtown Journal, biweekly community newspapers serving neighborhoods in southwest and downtown Minneapolis, received several awards from the Minnesota Newspaper Association at the its annual convention Jan. 24–25.

The Journals contest entries were among thousands entered by newspapers across the state for the 2006-2007 Better Newspaper Contest.
